2013 @ Shakespeare County Raceway

In 2013 Shakespeare County Raceway will be welcoming you to its 40th anniversary year as a fully active drag strip at Long Marston Airfield. There will be one or two special events happening as the year unfolds but two very important milestones in the tracks history will be the 20th running of the NSRA Nostalgia Nationals and the 25th anniversary of the oldest nostalgia drag racing ever; the Original NSRA Hot Rod Drags.

Plus we've got a great line up of event planned from ultra competitive wheel to wheel sportsman drag racing to performance car and motorcycle sponsored Run What Ya Brung weekends. The sports stars of the future in Junior Drag Racing are set to shine next to the racers contesting ET Bracket Racing!. From old skool nostalgia drag weekends to today's ultra quick modified car and motorcycle shootouts we'll give you the very best experience drag racing has to offer at Shakespeare County Raceway whatever your age! Recession or no recession 2013 admission prices have been held over making the weekend's action even more affordable as well as entertaining, no matter what taste you have for your horsepower needs.

For 2013 Shakespeare County Raceway offers a wide and varied selection of Public Track Day RWYB events catering for all tastes. To compete all you need is a vehicle. This will be checked for safeness by the raceway's knowledgeable scrutineering crew, seatbelts, suitable clothing, a valid driving licence and a crash helmet.
