On behalf of everyone who supported this years 2nd annual Shakey Super Pull thank you from the organisers Shakespeare County Raceway, Long Marston Airfield and the Midland Tractor Pullers Club for a great afternoon's worth of tractor pulling entertainment. The competitive spirit in all of the classes from the Junior Garden Tractors right up to the 3.5 ton Modified division was second to none. Tractor Pulling is truly the 'Most Powerful Motorsport in the World'. Congratulations to all of the event winners and runners up, and to Dave Jones for his entertaining runs made on his Super Stock Tractor Just Smoky. Also thanks to all the organisers, officials, clubs and the event sponsors. We couldn't have done it without you.

Also a special message goes out to the drag racers who put on a fantastic day of horsepower on the drag strip to entertain the pulling fans who had never been up close to a drag car before let alone see one perform on the drag strip. It was just a shame that Sunday's high winds and driving rain prevailed. The Outlaw Anglia's, Wild Bunch nostalgia dragsters, Supertwin and Sprint bike racers all put on a tremendous show. Roll on next year.
